Estepona Guide

To buy a villa in Estepona is the perfect option for people who want to live close to the beach and/or  the golf. Estepona City has the perfect size: a short walk to almost everything, but with all the services of a medium-sized and lively coastal town.

Its spectacular promenade and its old town, plenty of restaurants, bars and beach bars, are two of the area’s greatest attractions.

However, as it is the case in Marbella, the municipality of Estepona is much more than the city itself, since its extensive territory covers 23 kilometers of coastline.

The area bordering Marbella is known as Estepona New Golden Mile, a name reflecting he great expansion of its luxury developments.

Here we find several golf courses (Atalaya, El Campanario and El Paraiso Golf). The Estepona West area has excellent beaches and the golf courses of Valle Romano and Estepona Golf.

Living in Estepona City Center means all this and much more. It is the ideal choice for those who want everything literally a few steps away.

The Estepona City Center area encompasses the famous promenade and the old town, with their wide variety of services: shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, restaurants, banks…

The Estepona Port area, with its leisure and restaurants area, is located a 10 minutes walk away. It is close to everything and next to El Cristo beach, one of the best in southern Spain.

For those who prefer a more tranquil area, but yet a few minutes from all services and with good panoramic views, the best choice is Las Mesas area, on high ground above the city, with several modern apartments complexes.



Estepona New Golden Mile borders Marbella and offers luxury villas for sale on the beach and next to the golf, among other types of housing.

In the inland area of Estepona New Golden Mile, over the A-7 coastal motorway, we find urbanizations next to golf courses, such as Atalaya, El Campanario and El Paraíso. Other residential areas are a 3-5 minute drive from golf courses and 2 minutes from the beach (Cancelada, Las Perlas de Monte Biarritz).

On the sea side we find luxurious residential areas and complexes, with villas and apartments, such as Casasola, El Velerín, Mar Azul, Costalita or Menara Beach.

If you buy a villa in Estepona New Golden Mile, you will find countless services in the vicinity: international cuisine restaurants, shops, shopping malls, supermarkets, the luxurious Kempinski Hotel Bahia complex, the glamourous shopping mall Laguna Village etc.

Very close to Estepona New Golden Mile we find other golf areas, such as La Resina Golf and Selwo.



In the Estepona West area we find apartment complexes on the beach and also villas and apartments next to the golf courses.

It has a privileged location, quiet and surrounded by green areas, but only a few minutes from the entertainment and services of Estepona city. On the sea side we find beachfront apartment complexes, such as Arroyo Vaquero, Bermuda Beach, Guadalobón, La Galera or La Gaspara.

On the inland side, there are two main residential areas next to the Valle Romano and Estepona Golf golf courses, on high ground and with spectacular views of the sea and Gibraltar.

In the Estepona West area we find diverse services, such as restaurants and supermarkets, directly on the A-7 motorway that leads to Estepona.
